Saint-Malo – Nantes (208 km) Click for route map
We pass through St Malo if we are using the ferry crossing from the UK as it is a major cross channel port. I had a look round some years ago, but this aerial view makes me feel I’d like to explore the town and its fortifications again.
Brittany is a land littered with prehistoric sites with these megaliths, or standing stones, at St Just, being typical. These are part of an alignment, similar to the famous stones at Carnac, but from the helicopter coverage, it didnt seem as if there were a large number at St Just.
